Replying to scam email

Had an email through from a chap i had been in contact with recently

It looked gen as he had knee probs so i told him i couldnt help

Now by doing this have i compromised my email account? and if so what action is needed change of pw?

Nothing you can do in terms of your security, changing your password is unnecessary unless you believe it could have been compromised .

Just be on guard for more that might follow.

If this was a work / business email you do need to consider if it was a data breach particularly if it involved sensitive data such as medical records. Report it to you data protection officer, if you are self employed / sole trader than i guess that is you.
