"Staring hatefully at an employee 11 years ago."

That's in the top five most outrageous claims!!!

I'm no fan of Bercow but that's lame.

I detested him, but seriously these workers in civil service seem unable to deal with mild rebukes. Doesn't seem to be my idea of bullying.

John Bercow is a truly great man. The most brilliantly impartial and un controversial speakers we have ever had.
His conduct throughout the Brexit period was totally reasonable and showed him to be truly great
The outpouring of love and affection for him when he left was unique. Jess Phillips tribute to him was one of the greatest ever momenst in commons history
Forget the fact he wasn't made a peer. He should have received very honour that it's possible to receive and his Birthday should be a Bank Holiday too
I say jolly well done johnny

Hmmm.
I wonder if anything interesting is happening to the government at the moment, that could do with another story to help deflect scrutiny?

I don't believe so with this one.

It was pretty well down the listings and still seems to be.

ah ha I wonder for how long people are going to suggest that any and every story that is not partygate is a diversion. suggesting that Bercow would do anything to help Boris is risible. amusing to watch though.

There was a loony on the radio the other day convinced that the whole Djokavic thing was a diversionary story, that Boris had convinced the Aussie PM to do him a favour. biggrin

You think throwing things at people and using racist and sexist language is a “mild rebuke”?

I'm sure that Bercow will go the same way as Priti Patel now.
