I doubt it'll do very well but it is odd that people spend so much time complaining about the two party system and then complain when someone at least tries to do something about it.

More interest for me in seeing the Labour Party split into two, those toward the further left leaving the more centre left. Gina Miller Party, well Screaming Lord Sutch has always held a special place in politics for the sense of realism and fun, room for one more?

I dunno, shes a controverisal figure in the first instance, trying to get the brexit decision altered or halted so shes really not very popular with a large sector of society and those people arent really tuned into her message or her personality.
It seems to me shes trying to raise her profile all the time using arguments and methods that people dont want to warm to.

Wonder if I can get a free cup or a pen? Im open to bribery....

It promised to be a light day’s work. Man, it was quiet. I heard an empty crisp packet breeze across the road to Parliament Square.
Fifty mugs stayed eerily unfilled with coffee.
Oh God I thought, if I’m the only person here I’ll have to ask Gina Miller a question.
The harsh but fair party.

Only with the terminally stupid and wilfully ignorant, because she didn’t try and do either of those things.

We are a 48 party system, making it 49 won't change anything smile

Unfortunately for you, and her, the vast majority of the electorate think she did. Calling them terminally stupid rarely helps to either solve or mitigate the matter.

There is a better article directly on unherd -
https://unherd.com/2022/01/farewell-then-gina-mill...

The new party sounds like it was stillborn, thankfully.

Yup, that’s true enough, the problem she has though is one of the negative perceptions that many people drew from her interventions in the brexit debacle.
