Father Christmas got me some paints, so I have been messing around.

It’s been probably 10 years since I last put brush to canvas, so I’m a bit rusty but making a little progress.

What do you think? (Be gentle I’m fragile)

1st attempt Alfa 105 GTA on Canvas Board A4

2nd attempt Lancia Delta on water colour paper A4

I wish I could do that. Not bad at drawing but could never paint

I really like the way you've done the crowd in the second one.

Yay! Go you! That doesn't happen after a decade hiatus without a damn good eye and a large box of talent. Keep on it I say.

I love them both but they are not finished until you paint a big tree in the foreground.

Yours Bob.

How so? It’s just a hobby. I don’t think I’m good enough to do commission work.

Build up a portfolio and take it to a local art exhibition? Isn’t it a bit niche?

I have a lot of love for these. Very well done.

If I had a man cave I'd be making you an offer for one or both.

I had an idea.

If you are interested in me painting a picture of your car post a photo here.

I'll paint the one I like / gets the best reaction and send it to the owner. (pro bono)

I'm more interested in action shots than I am of cars parked in front of stately homes, so please bare that in mind.

I await the onslaught of photos........
