Cannot buy Ryanair shares - because Brexit.
Discussion
I've got some RYA shares that have done well since I bought them. I tried to buy some more this morning and I can't. Apparently UK citizens are barred from buying them, only EU citizens can buy them.
Evidently, Ryanair have to maintain a certain level of EU shareholders and that is why they have barred UK buyers.
Has anyone else come across this?

It's due to ownership requirements for EU domiciled airlines and been known about for quite a while now, not much you can do about it. You can still trade the ADR on NASDAQ if you really want, though obviously that carries FX risk.
Not that fussed TBH. I was only intending to reinvest divis. Thanks for the tip though.
