Not actually available in this country unfortunately, or North America for that matter but a 4 year wait if you order one today according to Toyota. Specifically the 300 series not whatever they're calling the Prado/Colarado these days.

That has to be up there with the longest waiting list ever for a real car, excluding things like the 'new' Griffith.

Apparently not linked to the chip shortage or any other raw material shortage. I assume it's the LC reputation, long model cycle, relatively low production numbers and the fact it'll probably be the last 'proper' LC made. Also the Lexus version is hideous so I can see people rejecting the LX on that basis.

I'd love one, buy a new one and it would probably see you out if you protected it from rust.

I agree, I would buy one in a flash if they imported it to the UK.

Even the UK waiting list for a Hilux or the smaller Land Cruiser (prado) is pretty long and they're both nearing the end of their model cycle. I've heard people being quoted 2 years+.

I was ready to order a new LC pre covid but was quoted over a year so ended up in a 2 year old Hilux - great truck.
