LCD Screen Problem
Discussion
Hi All,
I bought two of these screens
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/4000061045307.html?s...
Planning to drive them from a Pi 4.
I cant get either of them to work. The backlight comes on, but nothing appears on the screen. Pressing the buttons on the button bar does nothing, except the power which turns it off.
I have a decent 4A power supply, all the connections are solid, the panel voltage jumper is correct at 3.3v, the LVDS cable is seated firmly in the screen
If I plug it in to a laptop its recognised in Windows as a screen so I assume the board is ok. Anything else Im doing wrong, or do we think Ive just got two duff screens?
I have tried both boards and both screens and swapped them about. Neither work.
Thanks

Input Interface set to DVI instead of VGA (or vice versa) ?
Limited docs I have says it will auto switch. There is nothing on the board to switch it. There is button PCB with buttons marked Menu, Up, Down, Enter, none of them have any effect, except the power button. Will try the other connection types and see if I can get a menu up to change it.
Cheers
