V12 Vantage - stone guards (mud flaps!)

Hello,

I’m trying to find a pair of stone guards / mud flaps in non Aston speak for a v12 vantage. Which are specific due to diff sills than on a regular V8. I think same as N420 etc too.

I can only see v8/early sill ones for sale. Anyone know of a supplier?

Had them fitted to my V12V when I collected it from AM Chichester. Same as the later V8s I believe, and well worth the expense IMHO as they’re effective but very discreet.

yes front axle only, here is a picture of my V8 with V12 sills and the mud flaps

Do you mind me asking where you got these? I can’t confirm if they are sill specific or generic to any v8 / v12 but given the ones you have fit wanted to ask

It’s on the correct mounting cut out on the sill, together with Steve’s rubber jacking pads

How are the mud flaps fixed?

I don't fancy drilling holes for screw fitting

Existing mounting points on the sill and liner, so all good.

One of the most worthwhile additions you can do for the time and cost (£100 ish)

They are an Aston Martin part, mine were on the car when I bought them but seen them on AstonMartinBits web site from time to time with all the hardware to install them (Push pin and a few screws). They do a fantastic job at keeping the rocks from hitting the side of the car

Thanks. Astonmartinbits say the ones they supply are non s/420/v12 sills only. I contacted AM works and told they aren’t available for a v12. Nicolas Mee have said same as V8.. so no idea now! 😆

Just to share an update and info for anyone down the line in a similar position and looking to buy. I spoke to Nicolas Mee, they used the official AM parts catalogue and located for £109/pair. So I’ve ordered.

We did discuss the mix of sills, they are going to try and fit up next to a car when they come into stock to check.

A few £’s I know for tiny stone guards and I’m hoping they don’t look to obtrusive but on U.K. roads happy to save the side sills and the rear Qtrs the battering so decided worth a go.
