How unfair is this.. what was the bolt thinking.. it obviously had no respect for my new car.. :D

You kerbed your alloy already!!

On the positive side, it's better to have a tyre ruined when they're both newish, as you only need to change the one, not both. (still a biatch though!)

Chris alloys are okay.. its just the tyre... they are anthracite spiders and just a little dirty. I had this paint protection stuff put on and cannot wash the car for a while. . Plus been too busy putting 1k miles on it.

How the hell do bolts/screws/etc, do that?!?!?!

If you deliberately placed that bolt under the tyre, it would just ping off!

I reckon it's an inherrent defect engineered in by tyre manufacturers

Dont get ripped off changing the tyre. £145 here and I know some of the guys have got them even cheaper
