Motorway Pro Account
Discussion
Evening all,
I have a car going to motorway.com daily auction tomorrow.
Does anyone here have a pro account for them?
I want to hear from dealers how it work for them. Is it just a case of logging on, seeing a car you like and then making a bid? Can you see the current bid at all or just the minimum price it will sell for?
Could anyone be willing to check on my specific car tomorrow and give me a live update if indeed there is a live update to give?
Thanks

Basically at 10am the auction goes live, there are normally about 500 cars but you can sort on the normal make/model/age etc so different buyers can find what they want.
It’s rare for a car to be listed more than one unless it did not sell first time and comes back as a buy it now.
The cars are shown with their reserve but you can bid about 20% under this.
The pictures you provided will be there but they do edit out anything that identifies where you are like road signs and company vans etc. The description is also there and it’s a case of wait for the bids to come in. At the end of the auction in the afternoon any bids over reserve are automatically marked sold, under reserve Motorway contact both parties.
The only issue I hear of is sellers not being totally honest with descriptions but this is often blamed on a lack of ability to identify damage on a car. Likewise some buyers do go a bit WeBuyAnyCar and try to knock of money for minor items.
