The Panasonic NV-DS65B Has Dv In/Out. I have one and it really is a good DV for the price. Used mine all over the world on holiday and has never let me down.
These are on Ebay

How about here.
They are all refurbished, but I brought one from them last year, and have had no problems with mine! I believe all the Canons with an 'i' in the model number are AV in/out.

Not auite sure about that - the G45Hi on there does NOT have analogue in (is that what we're talking about?) according to the Canon site

I have been looking recently Phil and this was the best I could find for simple and easy track day filming. You get the bullet with it too and the thing is unbelievably tiny and very well built.

This is the us version but if you go to www.samsung.co.uk you can find the uk one that has a bigger internal memory.

I am very tempted to buy one.

They are stocked at comet.

It does have an AV socket though, which I think is what you need. I think this socket also handles the analogue in. It does on my MV530i, anyway, and I run a bullet cam from that.

Not sure about the video quality compared with DV. Also, I can guess how long that bullet will last on the front of the Noble

The MV530i is discontinued now (I really want a current model anyway).

Current leader is the Sony DCR-HC42E.

Any other ideas before I burn some plastic good people?

Any advice on separate bullet cams please.

Perfect. Did you get the 4.3 or 2.9mm lens. Are there any examples of what these pictures may look like to compare?

4.3mm I'd be interested if there's anyone that's used a different one.

Well, this was with the CAM. www.pistonheads.tv/clip447

To be honest the quality with the Sony DCR 42 thing once compressed for the web will be the same. The original 8 minute clip is 560MB from the hardware MPEG encoder I used. If it were DV footage it'd be more like 2GB!

I thought of the route of AV-in DV camera as i have a bullet cam, but went instead for the ARCHOS AV440, £330 and you get a portable video recorder (needs seperate camera, bullet cam ideal!) CF adaptor for your digital stills camera and the rest can be made up of mp3s or whatever you want it to be! the video is pretty good quality, records in 512x.... using DivX.

Just been on holiday wakeboarding and coupled with a waterproofed video transmitter, receiver, archos, and a helmet, got some wicked shots of "riders eye view" and "fish view" - and meant when i ran out of space on my stills camera, i didn't have to have the laptop in the boat!

Very nice camera.

Couldn't let this slip by. WHAT A COOL SETUP! I did a few laps at the Ring with a bullet cam mounted down by the twoing eye of an Evo VIII and the sensation of speed you get is brilliant.

As far as bulletcams and camcorders go: think LANC connections!!!
