Long shot.

Anyone here know of a company that can print a digital image onto fabric - about 2.5 metres x 1 metre?

Steve, there are a few companies who advertise canvas prints at the back of Photography Monthly. If you don't get any luck with the mentioned places just shout and I'll flip through and give you some links.

... all do canvas printing. Haven't tried it yet, but would like to hear anybody's experiences with digital to canvas.

Steve,

I've not used either, but have just seen an ad for these two places in one of my photo mags:

www.thebigprintcompany.com

www.kanvasstudios.com

Prices look pretty competitive too.

Ta Ed

I went with www.dcldigital.co.uk/index.html (as mentioned above) and was pleased with the price (£75) - I'm awaiting delivery, so I'll let you know if it looks any good.

I wasn't extatic, but reasonably pleased. It's obviously a tricky job to get 'contrasty' images onto a thin linin fabric, and there are no 'black' blacks - but other than that, the coulors, focus and quality were all very good.

When I've built the wall that it'll hang on (!) I'll take a pic.
