Banana Milkshake - The stuff of nightmares
Discussion
Quite literally.
I bought a 1 litre bottle of 'Yazoo Banana flavour milk drink' on Saturday as I hadn't had it for many years. Saw it on the supermarket shelf and just felt the urge for banana milk.
I drank some on Saturday evening, and that night had the most vivid nightmares. Something that almost never happens to me. Horribly real and caused me to actually wake up frightened and believing that it was all real.
Drank some more on Monday night, and the same thing happened. Spent the night having absolutely vivid nightmares about pipes bursting and our house flooding. My wife says I was screaming and shouting, and she was trying to both wake me up, and hold me down on the bed to stop me hurting myself. When I did wake up, I was distraught because our house was destroyed, and it took me several minutes of being awake to realise it wasn't. Even then I felt like I wasn't sure!
I'm now too scared to drink the remains of the Yazoo
I was always a bit skeptical of the concept of certain food or drink giving you nightmares or dreams, because I rarely dream about anything, or rarely remember it if I do, but now I absolutely believe it.
Does anyone else have nightmares or after certain food or drink?

yes, cheese on toast for me, It was one of my favourite things to eat but I only ever seem to have nightmares when I’ve had that for tea.
Haven’t had it for a few years, Iast time I did was just when we moved into our new house, I had dinner late due to all the faff of unboxing, forgotten what the dream was about now but my mrs had to wake me as I was apparently shouting and she didn’t want me to wake the kids, I woke in a panic and immediately made a dart for the door, only the door was located differently in our new bedroom.
unfortunately or fortunately whichever way you want to look at it, the wall was brick not plasterboard, and paracetamol didn’t touch that headache for the rest of the night, and I woke the kids.

Drank lots of chocolate yahoo with 2 brothers when we were staying in a caravan at a young age. All 3 of us had the squits, came out quicker than it went it - and only one toilet. Never drank it again.
Good call. Even if it looks the same coming out, never drink it again. Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
