Clutch/gearbox problems

I cannot engage any gears in my Tuscan; I can however put it into a gear when the car is off leave the clutch peddle out and the car moves forwards/backwards as you would expect but when you push the peddle in the movement does not stop. It looks like the clutch plates are seized together as I had this problem in my Ferrari which sorted itself out by starting the car in gear with the clutch peddle out with the car already in gear. Any body had this problem and if so what did they do to sort it out???

I'd expect what you describe if all the fluid had gone from the clutch hydraulics. I've never checked it on mine, partly cos I don't know where it is. Hopefully someone else can help with that bit.
