Any electronics enthusiasts around that might have come across a switch something like the one below, but that is push to MAKE? All the ones I can find are push to break (i.e. used to turn off lights in a cupboard).

I want to use one to switch on an "occupied" light when a normal cloakroom / bathroom turn latch is locked. Yes, the "occupied" light has been salvaged from a 737 nerd

Could you use a micro switch or a push button switch?

Yes microswitch is certainly an option, albeit probably a little trickier to install.

Just run it through a relay so the switch turns the relay off and the N/C contacts operate and turn the light on.
