My beam on the offside is laterally fine, but too high.

A quick rummage in the arch would seem to indicate adjusters at 12, 3 and 9 o'clock.

To lower the beam, I need to 'tighten' (clockwise) the 12 o'clock adjuster only, right?

Adjuster should be at 6 o'clock, but yes you tighten it (if it's not seized solid) to pull the beam down.

It's all been done before, just needs a little searching wink

Thanks for that. Yes, it probably is at six o'clock, I was having a quick rummage after removing the manifold cats so wasn't fully invested. A job for tomorrow I think.

Yes at 6 o’clock. I mentioned 12 o’clock on another thread. Excuse my limited brain cells!

Good photos in that link - thanks.
For some reason I expected the nuts/bolts to be bigger.

Surprisingly easy job. Looks like someone has been in there in the recent past. I only bought the car in October, wing nuts were easy to turn, but boy do they cut into your fingers when they get a bit tight! Had to use an old cloth to grip the wing nut.
