Morning all,

I need to source a small pot of paint or touch-up stick for the following shade of yellow. I've contacted a few online places but no response. It's not a standard car colour, but for a bike made my Nukeproof.

https://www.pantone.com/uk/en/connect/7548-C

I live in the NE of Scotland so not aware of any local places that can help me mix paint sadly, hence resorting to online shops.

Thanks in advance

IIRC Chipex have been mentioned by a few. Never used them myself so can't comment.
As it's not a car colour you'll probably be best giving them a call/email to see if it's something they can do.

Any small parts of the body you can take off and send to somebody's?

Halfords can mix paint, it’s been a few years since I’ve done it so can’t remember if you can get away with a Pantone number or not.

I’ve used chipped on the last car and the match was very good.

I got a tin of touch up paint from a company called Windrush who do a lot of tvrs.. It was pretty inexpensive and paint match spot on.

I just sent over the paint code and they posted it in a couple of days.. They will do paint for other marques too.

Thanks for the input guys - I ended up finding this company who were super helpful - https://www.carcolourservices.co.uk/

In fact, the paint has already arrived in the north east of Scotland, I only ordered yesterday afternoon.

Here you go, if you need an alternative source?

You're gonna have to to mix it yourself to get the correct shade but it's worth a punt (I've got some for my bike but not tried it yet)

Hi scz4, how did it look in the end? Yesterday I've managed to take a huge chunk of paint out of my NP Mega - it annoyingly missed the frame protection by about 1mm!

Not perfect, but a good enough match. Problem is building up the depth of paint again.

I’ve often found that nail varnish comes in handy for my bike frames.
There’s usually about a billion shades available, it’s cheap enough and has a decent build to it so you can get it back level with the surrounding powder coat.
