911 RSR replica
Discussion
Some of you have asked me to post a few more details on my RSR replica I am putting right !!
It was originally a 1970 2.2 S, then went to the USA and had a 3.0SC engine fitted and forwarded dated with wide steel body added and 80's interior added.
It then came to the UK and was owned by a Porsche specialist I bought it off indirectly, it was pretty much the same spec but he added 18 inch 993 wheels and a 964 engine lid and worrking spoiler and painted it grey.
Its origianlly Orange then went to red and now to grey.
My plan is to sell the wheels (now done) put some 15 inch ones (comming) re do the interior (have the seats I want) recarpet, get rid of the 964 rear deck ( will sell on) add a duck tail, Momo Prototipo and put the Porsche graphics on the side.

Nice. Is it still running the SC motor or will you put something fruity in the back?
Still running the SC, alledgedly it has some sort of race engine, I dont belive it has !!It feels quick for an SC but then its pretty light, going to put it on the scales and see wht it weights

Well the project continues the 9x15’s and 11x15’s turned up today complete with Michelin TB 15’s.
Fronts went on fine but the rears have had their wheel bolts changes as they had massive wheels on before and huge spacers so now can’t get the wheels in and will have to change the bolts !!
You have to love old cars !!

Hi and thanks--I did get the information (although nothing from the seller of this car)
Your RSR looks amazing. It also, I imagine, is expensive and it is RHD. I'm in the US, but will be in the London area shortly and have a good shipper/broker, so I thought I would look at this '70 RSR replica. But have not heard anything
