social media management software?
Discussion
Google comes up with loads of tools - im helping a non-social media literate friend with their FB/insta/Linkedin profiles
Im looking for some online management software to manage the photos, text, hashtags, automating the posting, cross posting between insta/fb/linkedin. They have 1500+ connections on linkedin (was managed by a 3rd party) but FB/insta is from nothing. Ability to manage emails/contacts in one place would be great and (i imagine) get rid of loads of spam/dross. Would also like to experiment with a small budget to promote her goods and services
Any pointers appreciated as its a minefield

Is this for a person? Or a company?
A pal runs https://www.engagesolutionsgroup.com/ that does that and more for companies.

You can run both Facebook and Instagram promos from the Business Suite on Facebook. It's good and free - but does require a little effort and time to understand how to fully utilise it. Plenty of tutorials on You Tube.
LinkedIn appeals to a different audience in a different frame of mind when they're using it. This needs to be reflected in the content and approach to promotions and thus not really something that can be amalgamated with Facebook and Insta (IMO).
Content is key. You can spend all you like on paid-for promotions but if the posts aren't eye-catching and stop someone scrolling then it's money wasted.
Canva is quite good if you don't know your Helvetica from Ariel. Adobe has some decent resources too.
I've not used it myself but I know some who speak highly of Hootsuite as a centralised management resource but I think from what you've described is likely to be unnecessary at this stage of the venture.

I've just corrected the second para - was getting late and got my platforms muddled thanks for the tip on fb business suite will investigate. Id seen Hootsuite. £40+pm seemed alot for something that i know not alot about hence asking PH!

FB business suite looks really complicated! Obv doesnt cover linkedin
ive signed up to Buffer - its in a few "alternative" reviews to hootsuite. But its free for 3 connections (FB/Insta/Linkedin ) so ideal start point. Next is to understand what content we have, how to get it out and build from there. Can upgrade to analytics, engagement for not alot too
As a side note, is it possible to search for hashtags to see whats most used/successful?
