Yes, I liked it. Sheridan Smith plays these sorts of roles really well.

I think at the end, the teacher could have turned the tables by claiming rape. She was clearly legless, unable to consent and the voicemail message sounded quite 'gloaty' to me.

Hadn't crossed my mind but you might have just ruined the ending biggrin

Her inability to be able to read notifications on her phone is rather far fetched

Good call!

That is assuming it happened at all? We never actually saw anything take place.

I really like Sheridan Smith. She plays the role really well.

Having watched and enjoyed 2 Pints I struggled get past Smith's appearance; shades of Leslie Ash with those lips. Teachers who cannot leave their youth behind(or don't take it far enough away that the bop they go to doesn't contain anyone who knows them) are a tribunal or sex offenders register entry waiting to happen in the era of social media and smart phones.

It’s all got a bit unrealistic bks now, imho.
Shame as first episode had potential.
In places quite difficult to follow too, poor post production?

Quite enjoyed that, Sheridan Smith really is decent in these kind of roles.

Well that was a waste of 4 hours. Unsatisfying ending.

Annoyed with this. It had some potential after ep 1 & 2 but was spoiled - the ending was poor and there seemed to be several plot gaps in the last episode - almost like they had to cut some scenes / storyline to make it fit the time slot.

Yup, started quite well, gradually turned to st over the course of the episodes. Sheridan is hot though, She seems to be in everything at the moment.

Very disappointing ending, started well but made little or no sense in the end, why not go to the police with new information etc.

Enjoyed eps 1-3, was hoping for a gripping finale tonight, ending was risible.

It gave me the feeling of doing exams at school - doing really well, you look up, realise you’re running out of time, write any old bks in the last couple of minutes to say you’ve finished it.

Mum wanted to watch this while she was staying at my house this week but she couldn't remember what channel it was on, we soon discovered there is "A Teacher" on BBC and "The Teacher" on C5 both similar stories.

Both were ok to kill some time.
