Help! Removing console/arm rest in 2012 Vantage Roadster
Discussion
Take a look here.

It may help a bit, although I don’t know if it’s exactly the same in a roadster compared to a coupe. When I did mine (coupe) I removed the offending piece using a trim tool on the rearward facing side. Hope that helps a bit.

When I took my centre armrest assembly out of my car to fit the galss switches to the lower panel I remember head scratching about how to get the section out - there was some screws hidden under a leather trim piece toward the rear.
Hope that helps. If not, theres loads of helpful you tube vids from helpful people with hints and tips on removing all sorts of stuff.
Failing that, a bit of googling will get you to a free download of a workshop manual - Good luck

Glad to hear you managed to do it. I bought myself a very similar kit, as it really does pay to have the correct tools for the job. There are so many different shapes and sizes and you’ll eventually find one tool that works. If you use anything metal or too sharp you will cause damage and no one wants that. Well done!

Let me revive this thread for a while.
I am 100% sure that here i found the instructions to access the auxiliary cigarette lighter socket that stays behind the rear open part of the roadster 2011 central console. The part that has already been removed in this thread.
But I cannot find the istructions anymore.
Could someone point me to the right direction?
Many thanks
