Posting multiple replies if I use the back button.

Hi there,

If I write a reply and then after it's posted I want to go back to the board I was looking at I use the "go back" function which hasn't been an issue until recently. However recently when I use that same back function, each time I go back it adds my reply another 2-3 times, meaning I have to go back and delete these spurious replies.

Has something changed in the past few months which has enabled this type of "go back = re-post reply" function?

This used to be a problem a while back, and was fixed, funny its starts to occur again.

As a test, after posting the above, I used the back button, and didn't have the problem, so not affecting myself.

I have noticed on a few threads duplicate posts, not next to each other like issues we have had before, but sometimes a few posts apart - we will look at what is going on and why this has started.

If you could help, could you put if you are using a phone or computer and what browser you are using to see if we can diagnose it better?

I had a very strange one the other day, maybe related ?

I'd written a reply in this thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... on Jan 28th. Then I found a re-post of the same reply dated about a week later (although I hadn't even accessed that thread in the meantime as far as I know). I've since deleted the additional reply, but have absolutely no idea how it occurred.

The original reply was written with Chrome on an Ipad.

I seem to be having the same problem: not quite got it figured out yet, but as IanH755 says, it seems to be intermittently caused when you make a post, then click the 'return to topic' button.

Posting from Firefox on a Windows desktop, if it makes a difference.
