Pull lever loose - Gas tank

Good Afternoon everyone

While trying to open the gas tank, the pull lever by the driver seat became loose and it doesn't open the lid of gas tank.
I have suzuki Alto 2010.

Can anyone please help.

It will work on a cable running between the lever on the seat and the "lock"/popper for the fuel cap. Either it has become disconnected from one end or the cable has snapped.

First thing is to look down by the seat and see if you can locate the cable coming from the lever, give it a pull and see if the end of the cable comes out or if the fuel cap opens.

I don't know that car, but these will usually be outside the main tub and often accessible either behind trim in the boot space, or behind the wheel arch liner.
