Myself and my pal classichimi we out today at the footman james meet and Al noticed that there is a significant draft in the passenger footwell.

The draught really is cold and very strong.

I refitted and sealed the heater blower cover so its not coming in there anyone got any ideas where else to look ?

I've got Aircon and there is an inlet from the wheel arch into the blower motor that is blocked by a motorised flap, that is the only place that I can think of a significant draught coming in from. I have no idea if you have Aircon or if non Aircon cars have the inlet there.

Good shout. No air con but opening could be there. Someone mentions the heater motor is fed from air via inner wing so you can’t just block it up but someone suggests using foam sections which might be a good solution.
I’ve noticed on my own car that the holes in inner body (cill) to access door hinges air will blast through them and only held back by the carpet sealed and pinched with door surround rubber. If your carpet is loose you’ll feel drafts.

On Franks car the draft is from behind dash board being forced down towards your knees on the passenger side only. It’s toasty in the drivers seat biggrin

Car drove great thumbup

Problem now solved.

There was indeed a hole about 4 inch diametre in bulkhead just under bottom left windscreen corner.

Glassed in and grommet fitted for the loom cable going through it and no more draught !

BTW right pain to get at both dash top and bottom need to come out. Notfor the faint hearted.....
