Eurotunnel warning
Discussion
Came back from France on Eurotunnel yesterday and whilst slowly driving along through the carridges, one of the protrusions atthe carridge joins managed to dislodge one of the rear exhaust mounting brackets and dislodge the rear section of one of the pipes. It made for a very interesting sound - one fully functioning sports exhaust c/w one sounding like a tractor!
Full credit to the staff - after I had driven off they removed the loose rear section to allow me to go up the ramps without doing any more damage, drove me round to the customs under-vehicle inspection pit (hello to the azure Griff driver departing to France), and re-fitted the pipe - all befor the AA arrived!
This is our fourth return trip on the Eurotunnel in the Cerbie and whilst it bottoms out regularly, nothing like this has ever happened before - you have been warned!
