Shopify payments account review

Hello!
I know some people on here have some experience with shopify.
We started using it for our websites in early 2021 and have just started to see decent traction on our own brand website, we have also started to get larger trade orders for multiple 100s/1000s of products.
We just reached 24k in sales on the month so far of which the majority has come from a repeat trade customer via the site, customer likes using the site to purchase because we accept Amex. Looking on google tells me 20k is a marker figure for review.
This has put our payment account through a verification process and we now find ourselves with 20k being held until this process is sorted. 24/72 hrs
The annoying thing I’m finding is the trade customer wants his goods tomorrow and I don’t want to ship until funds are going to be sent to my bank.
I have sent all relevant documents to shopify. Proof of stock, tracking, & ownership of stock. But it’s now a case of waiting.
Said trade customer looks to be spending over 20k monthly now so don’t really want to loose them. Yet I know from previous chats with them they like to buy using Amex and won’t be as interested if we can’t offer this service.
They have been buying for the past 6 months with no charge backs etc so I assume they just like building there Amex points 🤷🏼♂️
Anyone had a review like this and if so how long to resolve.
