Source for old and cheap pc ?

So, I am looking for an cheapo extra PC with the following criteria :

Pentium 3
Beige
Desktop not tower
2 x free PCI to put in an old SCSI CD drive and sound card (PCI)
1 x spare CD drive slot for above
1 x free ISA slot an XG Synth ISA card.
Win 98 SE
256Mb +
c. 10 Gb hard disk (not vital)
Ethernet port
2 x USB

No monitor / keyboard / mouse needed

This is to operate / interface a Yamaha A3000 sampler with internal SCSI HD.

I have looked a a few EBay offers, but towers dominate, desktops only seem to be sold in job lots , or are restricted to style brands like Dell or HP, so have restricted expansion.

I threw dozens of desktops out from work last year, and am kicking myself for it!

Any ideas ? Computer fairs ? (If I stand the BO and rising damp odour from the customers!)

I can let you have a Dell Optiplex GX150 desktop, P4 I believe, 512Mb RAM, decent size HDD. Let me know if you want more details. Open to any sensible-ish offer for it.

What's your budget? You could be suprised at how little you need to spend to get a brand new basic PC these days...

Miniman, thanks very much for the kind offer, but I suspect the GX150 is too modern, and the motherboard won't have an ISA slot (I think it has 2 x PCI slots)

pdv6, yes I have seen P3 and even P4 systems go on Ebay for £10 - £50, but a recent machine won't have the configuration I am looking for. I really want to get an ISA slot and have it in desktop form, to fit in between in Carillon PC and the Yamaha sampler.

I will keep an eye on Ebay ...

These guys sell refurbished corporate stuff - may have something that matches what you want.

Delivery is good, next day, but puts the price up because of the weight.
