I am going to look into mounting a video camera between the headrest mounts so it points at the windscreen, obviously below the top of the screen to cut down on wind noise. Now it looks a simple enough job so has anyone done this before and was it succesful, looking foward to it, good for those on trackdays and in convoy going to a meet.

4 Different ways of doing it:

1). Clamp a beam of ali between the headrests, and install a jessop's camera mount on the middle. Drill holes and maket the clamps up using metal plates and bolts + wing nuts. Jessops mout is pretty cheap.

2). Buy one of thoes purpose built camera mounts. Can't remember the company but people like pierscoe1 have them for their cars. Around £60 IIRC.

3). Get a "Magic Arm" off a film set and use that.

4). Fit a 5 point harness to the passenger side, trick wife/girlfriend into sitting in the seat. Strap them in so they are immobile and tape camera to their shoulder/head.
