Anyone looking to invest in Diesel still on here, I'm about to plug the plug on a 2 year Diesel lease deal, maybe in 2 years time I'll look and see where the market is with regards to Hybrid's and EV's.

If you have the requirements that mean a diesel is the most cost effective choice, then it’s still a good idea to get one. Generally, that is high annual mileage (>12,000).

Try to get a ULEZ compliant Euro6 if budget allows

I tow a twin axle caravan. Diesel and 4wd will be my choice for as long as possible.

Likewise need a diesel to tow a caravan. We are on borrowed time with all of this and the way that diesels are being marginalised.
