LOL. Apparently having failed spectacularly with Hogwarts Legacy, the professionally offended have turned their sights on this one.
Reviews look pretty decent and I have PC gamepass so I'm going to be giving this one a go for sure
Professionally offended ? Please do explain !Reviews look pretty decent and I have PC gamepass so I'm going to be giving this one a go for sure

Edit - Ahhh right I didn't know anything about Hogwarts not something I would look at as for Atomic Heart I'm giving it a miss because of the possible connections to Ukraine.
What's causing the professionally offended to have turned their sights on it ?

This is the game Nvidia was proudly announcing in it's RTX 2000 series launch, it's poster child for ray tracing gaming 5 years ago.
It doesn't have ray tracing - https://www.tomshardware.com/news/atomic-heart-pc-...

I don't see how anyone who thinks it romanticises the soviet empire can have actually played it. What is the basis for this claim?
My limited understanding is that the game is based in an alternative reality which portrays an idealistic view of the soviet union and it's history/achievements? I've not played the game so don't really know the plot, I've watched a couple of videos as it grabbed my attention, but I guess it doesn't sit quite right with me at the moment so don't think it's for me.But in many ways I guess no different to something like C&C Red Alert years ago, where you could play from the soviet pov. Albeit that wasn't from a dev with links to Russia. But the difference being current events obviously make the timing of this a little more controversial (despite the fact it's been in development for a few years now).

Top game that I've been on since it launched on Xbox.
I was finding it a fair challenge until I put some effort into upgrading my Mass Telekinesis. Now I can walk into anywhere and dominate everything in sight.
Couple it with maxing SHOK out and you're pretty much untouchable.
Great game

Great game
I'm not enjoying it that much
Controls aren't great especially the jumping from holding stuff, swinging the axe isn't easy always getting caught on stuff and it takes ages to heal.
I'm only at the seed store bit though so I assume very early although the 72 hour long slow walking forced intro was a pain in the arse
