Not sure but I think it belongs in the 'bad parking' thread...

It means the 4 series that preceeded the current 4 series.

Was going to ask if that’s the BP garage on the A20/Sidcup bypass ? Reminded me of this smash back in 2020.

I was about to post the same - certainly looks like that's the reg, and that's what shows up on the usual reg checker apps.

Desperate attempt before closing time to get the mrs some forecourt roses and a card for valentines day tomorrow?

We've all been there.

Some people will go to any lengths to ensure the tank is brimmed. Perhaps the driver read that parking on a slope helps?

Presumably pulling in to act as a witnesses if needed, and then realising that a potential explosion/fire could be incoming, I would assume that they decided not to head onto the forecourt to park?

I like the way the guy walks calming to his blue pick up - doesn't rush around to see if the occupants of the black car are ok !!
More concerned about making sure his pasty is stored safely in his car !!

I think his blue pick up is also not very well after that - a bit more than just his pasty to worry about!
I know this station and bit of road well - there is always a bit of a river across the road when it rains heavily just where the Merc (and I assume the BMW) starts to aquaplane.
I broke down just before this garage one snowy winter many years ago and waited 10 hours for a breakdown truck to arrive- I must have eaten every combination of garage food and read every magazine in there twice out of boredom. Nothing this exciting happened while I was there.
