Solving potential internet issue that will be a thing when we move in a couple of months. These guys have pretty glowing reviews. Could do all the site survey stuff myself but frankly I just won’t have time and factoring in should I do it myself it would still be about £300 in kit the £500 setup with full install and survey seems pretty reasonable. Does anyone have experience with these guys?

There is a lot that makes me wary.

  • They don’t say what provider they use. Rather fundamental.
  • Looks like CGNAT so no static IP and some services won’t work.
  • T&Cs state you must use their provided modem, and that it will be monitored.
  • As above, is bridge mode available. They don’t say.
I can’t see why this is better than buying an unlocked 4G modem from Amazon and popping in your choose of SIm.

FYI my Huwaei 535 was £100 from Amazon. With £20/month 600Gb EE sim I get-

I use them until my starlink arrives.

You can get all the kit via Amazon (or whoever) and do it cheaper but I wanted hassle free.
Went with the modem first option first.
Signal strength is a bit iffy in my house with the router only option, speed was around 30mb down, 5 up but it kept dropping out during calls. I have to use wi-fi calling, stable connection is important.

Used their install service (again prefer the hassle free option). Speed is around 40-45mb down and 16 up. More useful is it's much more stable, it's does not drop in and out like before.

As above you can do it cheaper but depends on how much effort you want to put into it.

Edit to add a few more details. I have zero 4G signal in or around my house yet this picks one up.

Router looks like it's a TP-Link. As above, £35/m is a bit pricey, you can DIY for less.
