Hi All
BMW are coming out to look at my flat tyre at home and have said will attempt to repair - pleasantly surprised that they didn’t just say “replace” as haven’t seen any other mobile options for runflat repairs.
I’m on approved used warranty so no charge to repair.
The damage happened very close to home and pressure was only 25psi on the drive when I pulled up yesterday. Now reading 0psi and won’t hold air. Audible hissing from central tread area (I can make it stop with my finger).
We’ll see at 12 ish today when they come for a look, just wondering on opinions (and thought it might be a useful thread for someone in a similar position in the future)
Cheers

I haven't had BMW fix a run-flat but one of the local tyre fitters did on my previous car.

I know a few (most?) tyre fitters don't like repairing run-flats although I think that's as much to do with them being concerned how much the car has been driven around with no air in the tyre.

Did BMW fix it?

Thanks and yes that’s the impression I’m getting.
So BMW guy managed to bung the hole (quite a big one) but said treat it as a temporary repair and get the tyre replaced at earliest convenience. He said no recognised tyre fitter should repair for the reason you said. Now tyre shopping…

Surprised to say that I’m happy with the run-flats on this car (though haven’t been on previous BM’s)
