1991 Rover Mini
Discussion
Hi all!
For a long time I've wanted a classic car, with a recent house purchase with a garage now seemed the best time to do it!
I was torn between a MGB GT or a Mini, however my garage has a partition in it which answered the question for me!
I spent a few weeks looking on Autotrader, Facebook and Gumtree and finally found a 1991 Rover Mini 1.3
This Mini had been owned by the same people since 2003 who had brought it as a shell and fully restored it from the ground up. It was originally a 998cc but has had a Metro 1275cc engine put in.
The car came with restoration photos and a folder with every receipt since.
Looking forward to the first summer in the mini and no doubt a lifetime or battling rust!
It's also doing 18mpg currently much to the disgust of the better half!

Nice. More pics please. What’s with the 18mpg? For a long time I've wanted a classic car, with a recent house purchase with a garage now seemed the best time to do it!
