So....who's going. It will be my first time at Bedford. It seems a long, long way round. I've got JimboCam's lap to watch...should have learned my way round by the afternoon?

Come tomorrow night.. there are only a few spaces left but you will have then circuit to yourself and find it easier to learn without 90 other cars pushing off line..

Don't worry about the big lap; Bedford seems pretty easy to learn. It also works to your advantage as, after the inital rush onto track, the Open Pit Lane seems to work well. You can go out when you want and for as long as you want and it never seems that crowded IMHO.

I suspect I'll get tuts from the purists as they seem to think Bedford boring, by I love it as my overactive imagination is comparatively untroubled by bits of hard looking track furniture in my close peripheral vision.

I'm sure you'll have a fab day. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

I'm going on the 13th.

I quite like Bedford. Sure, it's very flat and there aren't many features. But the circuit is nice to drive and fairly fast as well although it is heavy on brakes. I had Steve Rance giving me a lesson not long ago and I was able to push the car in safety. In fact, I span 3 times.....although this was semi-deliberate in order to explore the car's limits (well that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

Mind you, that was on a Fastrakdays evening and it was very quiet with very few cars. The PCGB day on the 13th will have more cars there and they won't appreciate you spinning every 5 minutes.

Well, Glenn. Unless its very, very wet I most certainly will be following you. At some distance, I imagine.

Seriously - I haven't done Bedford before so I'll be learning the circuit and probably not up to any great pace...
