Your favourite gaming trilogy

Playing through ME2 as part of the legendary edition just now. I never played it back when it first came out. Obviously only 1.5 way through the trilogy but I'm loving the story so it's right to there for me. Other than that, the games I've probably played the most of is Halo... Countless replays... But I guess you can't really call it a trilogy when there are more than three of them... Lol
Arkham asylkum, city and knight, peerless game design, last game was nowhere near as good as other two, but still miles ahead of most doing a similar thing.
I would also go for Fallout 3 New Vegas and 4, huge time difference between them but still standout.
And not a trilogy but Half Life 1 and 2 are just the standard as a pair

I used to love Syphon Filter years ago.
Such good games. They'd be worth a remake IMHO. Shane they'd just turn into a generic 1st person shooter.
Personally I'd go with the Brothers in Arms series.
They only made 2 games as they never got to make the final installment.
First game centered around the D-Day parachute landings up to a key battle, clever and non linear story telling really got you drawn into the actual characters. Hell of an ending and I felt a very good, anti war game.
The second game dealt with the Market Garden campaign, surviving characters from the first game, now dealing with the trauma from the first game. Good squad controls for the time, actually required flanking and thinking. Mixed action, history war gaming with genuine horror (favourite and most unexpected jump scare ever in a game) and again at no point IMO made out war was good or glamorous.
A brilliant counter point to the Medal of Honour games.
Sadly they never made a third, I think the developer went bust.

I've got this on a playstation mini console thing. I used to love this game. Now, it's borderline unplayable due to the finger contortions needed with the controller to do so. I don't know how I managed in the past. Also liked the Die Hard Trilogy (windscreen wipers to get rid of the blood
) and Alien Trilogy.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
