Curry Mile Recommendations
Discussion
Sorry if this has been asked before but . . . .
Going to visit my daughter at the beginning of April who's at Manchester Met.
I used to visit curry mile years ago when I lived in Cheshire but now totally out of touch.
My daughter has only been once and was a little drunk so can't remember which one she went to or if it was any good
It'll be the 5 of us, me, wife, 2 x daughters (both students) and 15 year old son who is a very fussy eater!
Any recommendations for a family friendly, reasonably priced (£30-40 per head) restaurant with a decent menu, good atmosphere etc..
I know there are loads of good Indian/Pakistani restaurants that are not on the curry mile but we've always said we'll go next time we visit.
Thanks in advance.

You’d struggle to spend that per head!
I like Mughli charcoal pit, Ziya Grill and My Lahore.
It is not what it was the curry mile but it is still quite the experience. There a lot more variety of cuisine now with a lot of Persian, Turkish places in amongst the traditional curry houses.

I was just thinking that with starters, poppadoms, main, naans, sides and drinks if I get change from £130-150 for the 5 of us I'd be happy.
I'll take a look at the ones above thanks.
Going on a Monday evening so should be ok with getting a table.
