Vauxhall Astra Van

I’m thinking of buying a Vauxhall Astra Van. I’ve found one that is a 2012 with 177k on with a 1.7 diesel. Can anyone give me an areas to look out for? Any costly parts and areas to check on a pre inspection? Thank you.

Quite a few model specs/options and power levels on the 1.7, I have a '12 plate currently on approx 145k and not had any problems,mine is the 125bhp XP Sportive model and over a tank of mixed driving i average 50mpg,the only problem i've had is passenger side headlight blown bulb and to replace there is a tiny flap inside the wheel arch, fine if you have small hands but as I don't one of the local Halford lads did it

It’s a 1.7 CDTi 16v Sportive with 108bhp.

If it has been looked after and serviced I doubt you will have any problems with it, as this is PH you can also get it mapped to around 160bhp
