Sub £200 10inch tablet

I have the Digiland tablet. And unlike Apple products, you can actually pop the back off and change the battery. Had it about 3 years and so far so good

I use a Lenovo Tab M10 HD 2nd Gen. does everything I need from a tablet, and had another 10" Lenovo before that that Mrs Easty is using now still going strong an has a far bigger battery than the new one, only changed it for a better screen res (didn't really make much differance truth be told)

Interesting thread! Has got me pondering a replacement tablet...
I'm currently using a rather battered iPad Air 2 for Netflix/YouTube/iPlayer etc at home. It's done well considering the screen is quite badly cracked (I rescued it from being binned at work!) and has been held together by a screen protector for the past 4 years or so. It's definitely due for replacement; although it remains just about usable for navigating streaming apps, the screen damage makes it very difficult to use the on screen keyboard, and it's getting gradually worse over time. Did ponder repairing but it's an expensive job on the Air 2, and not worthwhile given the age of the thing.
Now I'm not a big Apple fan in general, I much prefer the flexibility of the Android OS for my phones, but that poor old wreck of an iPad does have a nice display and quite decent audio. Compared to the POS Kindle Fire HD that we also have at home, it's much more responsive and therefore nicer to use, despite the Kindle being considerably newer. Battery life is still fairly decent too.
Don't suppose anyone has any experience of both the 7th gen iPad posted above and the bargain Lenovo tablet a few posts before that? Does the Lenovo display, sound, battery life and general responsiveness compare at all well with the iPad? Or is it worth the extra £80 for that refurbished iPad?
Cheers

I've ordered that Apple-refurbed 2019 iPad.
Logic is that I've had several years' use out of the old Air 2, and other than the effects of the damaged touchscreen it's still performing well, despite being 7+ years old. It even updated the OS the other day, which was a surprise given its age.
If I get 4 years' use out of the "new" one, then at £210 it'll have been a bargain. Hopefully, with a decent case and screen protector, this one won't end up with a smashed screen
