For years I've used crushed Weetabix as a substitute for breadcrumbs. Works great of fried of baked chicken and fish.

This has been a thing for a while! When it first popped up, we tried it and liked it. We’ve added marmite and cheesy beans, that’s great.
But best was cheesy marmite beans, with bacon and eggs!

It’s a real nice change from toast!

Funny the traction that one got though!

No. For home made chicken nuggets, I coat the chicken lightly in mayo and apply the Weetabix crumbs. Delish.

Crushed Weetabix are quite good as a thickener in curries, stews and soups.

I've had a curry where dry fried spices and oil is mixed with weetabix and the paste stuffed into a cross cut in a mini aubergine. They are then baked in a casserole. You would never guess they were there
