Hi all

Summer is approaching and I want to try a convertible! I’m thinking about some road trips in the summer and will need something with a big enough boot for maybe 2 small suitcases with the roof down.

I want something from a main dealer so it has an approved used warranty as I don’t like to have a car without one, especially a convertible with a complex folding roof

So far my search on AT has the following

Manufacturer approved
From 3.0
Convertible

Low to high, all I see is BMW’s, so many, why are they all so cheap compared to Audi’s and Mercs?

These are my options thus far

S5 Convertible - 33k Minimum for a poor spec

M4 Convertible - from 30k for a 2015 model

E350/400d convertible - from 35 but poor spec, no burmester or digi dash (how is it not standard?!)

440i/435d convertible - from 30 for LCI models, nice cars but can get M4 for their price

For context, my current car is a M240i manual and previous to that was a M4 CP

V8 Mustang? When I test drove the coupe I reckon it definitely had a bigger boot than my M235i so I assume the soft top still has decent boot space, also think it will hold its value a lot better than an S5 for example which I can only see plummeting in value?

Or at a slight stretch of the budget, a Boxter? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202110128...

Good shout on the boxster, surprising amount of boot space between the frunk and trunk!
