Not a new phenomena, but am I alone in thinking it's become more prevalent?

I can't say I have ever had something I've fixed to a wall ever fail, so why on earth does this happen?

I may make it my mission to start a compendium, but Google has served up a particularly unfortunate example...

Agreed. I've often seen this and thought it shouldn't be rocket surgery to attach a few letters to a wall. It seems even more protracted to repair it.

My friend runs a shop fitting / sign fitting outfit

I’ve helped him out once or twice years ago when he has been in a bind

I’m always amazed at how shoddy everything is done, I’m amazed everything lags as long as it does
