I've read some reports the ally rads are not all that strong and have failed prematurely.

TVR chassis flex, alluminium radiators don't! It's all about how you mount them.

They are Austin Mini type exhaust bobbins I believe or so they look like. I had new ones off Dom years ago and I’ve never had any alloy rad issues other than it’s a lot lighter and easier to get out wink

The rad as supplied by Central also has smaller lugs I seem to remember at the bottom that fit into body work with loads of room for flex. Mine is suspended on the bobbins and those lugs just locate it at the bottom rather than hold it there.
Maybe ask who respected repairers get there Tvr design rads off( Arron etc ) and see if you can get one made to your specifications.
Be good to see your car up and running mate thumbup

A bit late with this one but i noticed that BMR do TVR rads:

They manufacture their own cores so should be able to help with any specification. I have used them for a few projects and not had any issues.

A friend's Alloy rad split on the M4 a couple of weeks ago.

Fortunately the gauges steamed up which made him notice the temp was almost off the scale so he stopped immediately saving the engine.

Good friends with the guy who owns this, products are a work of art.

Do loads of bespoke stuff as well.
