Petrol prices and buying new car- what on earth do you buy??
Discussion
I'm just lost with what to buy. Budget literally from £5000- £30k!
I like performance- but is buying a performance petrol car a good idea, given the way the world has changed in the last few years (Coronavirus, a war and the market gearing towards electric cars)
If I'm being sensible I could buy a Hybrid Lexus- but do I want to pour £25k+ on a slowish motor?
Or do I keep the cash and get a much cheaper car, say £10kish or less. But it's likely to be very boring and could break and will be worth peanuts in 3 years time...
I mean once upon a time you could make a decision based on affordability and running costs only but I just find these days it seems to be a headache!
