Hi,

2011 mondeo, manual box, 62000 miles

- whole car/engine twitches and jerks
- only happens at roughly 1500 rpm
- happens when car is warmed up
- also when engine braking
- had a scan done, no faults
- vibrates when standing still too at 1500 rpm
- gear doesn't matter but feels strongest in 4th and 5th gear

bad flywheel perhaps?

I'd check two things:-

1. If the gear lever shakes violently, points to Dual Mass Flywheel
2. Engine mounts......can cause horrendous vibrations inside the cabin.
