Was ‘caught short’ and starving today. Haven’t done the supermarket sarnie thing for years, but had an M&S Wensleydale and carrot chutney sarnie. Wow!

Go to supermarket sandwich suggestions welcome… (and I know letting them get up to room temp makes a massive difference)

Greggs sandwiches are better than supermarket ones for a similar price, if you find yourself on the High Street (or a motorway service station).

Tesco's Breakfast Triple is suitably filling and a good driving sandwich as there's not lots of little bits to drop down your shirt when scoffing it in the outside lane....

And what a lot of people don't know is that
Greggs and McDonald's coffee is up there with the best of the take out coffee's.
And a third of the price.

What are the best take out coffees?

Gregg's used to be the only pre-made sarnies i'd purchase, however Thomas The Baker's offerings are tasty and filling too (never heard of them before moving to Harrogate).

Really, your asking that?
Don't you know?
They are the coffees that don't make your eyes water or your teeth itch.
Go outside, leave your keyboard for an hour or so, and live a little.
You will meet real people.
Buy their coffee, and hopefully work it all out.
It's great!

Depends how long it's been sat there though, usually have to scrape the manky lettuce off before it's edible laugh

True for any sandwich. I usually check the dates in case there's a more modern one at the back smile

Well don't you worry about me.
I've managed for years without you looking out for me.
If its Coffee points your after, go and drink something a Cat has shat out.
Then you will be the winner!

I favour either a Greggs ham and cheese baguette or a Tesco coronation chicken in onion seed bread if in need of a sandwich whilst out and about.

Tesco used to do a cream cheese and salmon which was delicious but haven't seen for a while
M&S brie and grape are nice but my absolute favorite is from a cafe, fried egg sandwich. Not recommended to eat while driving btw.

I think you've been drinking too many take out coffees lol

So which is your favourite place to get coffee from? Which is your least favourite?

Yes, from Co-Op especially.

Morrison's do fajita roll type things. They do an onion baji and chutney one. Recommend, much.

Sandwiches aren't much cop though. All filling squeezed to the front and nothing behind. Would rate M&S better.
