Anyone use Payhip?

All, my son (14) is good at artwork (ink sketching), and people at his school often get him to do artwork for them. Someone told him he should put his work on Payhip, where he could sell it and maybe make a bit of spending money. This person uses it (selling digital art) and makes a few £’s a month.

There’s a free subscription option, where they take 5% of any sales. This is what he’d be using. Seems to be based on PayPal payments, so presumably I’d have to use my account for him, since he’s under 18.

I’m assuming he’d retain any copyright to his work, just as he would if he sold any of his work for cash or by some other means.

Anyone used this company? Any advice? Seems fairly straightforward, but then so do many things that turn out to have hidden issues! Thanks.
