The control to stop the satnav coming up on switch-on

I had my satnav set to rise only when I pressed one of the dash buttons. I decided when it went up and when it went down.
Recently I've heard a whirring from its direction a few seconds after ignition on, but nothing happening. I guessed it was stuck again, so disconnected the lid, levered the unit up and now it goes up and down with the ignition.
However I know there's a setting somewhere to change it back to how it was, ie 'on demand'. Can't find it in the infotainment area nor in the manual. Where is the magic setting please?

As far as I know, there is no setting. But, if before turning the engine off, you went trough the procedure of turning off the sat-nav (with the ENTER joystick) and it closes, the next time you turn on the car, the sat-nav will not turn on and raise.
On the other hand, if you don't turn off/close it before turning off the engine, at the next start-up it will open by itself.
