Now that Aston Martin are using Mercedes-Benz infotainment systems, perhaps a look at the sequence of M-B systems will give us a pointer to the future of AM interiors.
I think the original agreement with M-B, required AM to use earlier versions of the M-B infotainment system.
Has that been changed with the latest agreement?
(I may need your help with accuracy here, because I am no gadgetry expert.)

The first of the three systems, used from about 2010.
Is this the system now being used by Aston Martin? The mouse/controller looks like the one seen in 2018 onwards Aston Martins

This is the second of the three systems. Introduced in about 2015, and is still used on the current E-Class.
Looks to be neatly incorporated into the dashboard, but I understand not so easy to uses as the latest big screen system.
The mouse/controller has been replaced by a touch pad.

This is the latest version. Introduced with the 2021 S-Class, then used on the 2022 C-Class. The E-Class has not yet been updated, but a replacement E-Class is expected next year.
The big screen is certainly very dominant, but presumably has been adopted because it is easier to use, than the previous systems.
Can be controlled by a choice of either touch screen (hence close position to driver), steering wheel controls, or voice commands.

Do you think we are we going to see these big screens on future Aston Martins?
May look OK on the SUV, but how would they look in the smaller cockpit Sports and GT models?

Edit - I don't know how that red face has appeared beside the front page title, or how to get rid of it. Sorry.

Visually I like the middle one best.

But can I fit my coal-fired 1993 Volvo satnav in it? nuts

Best interior design ever is the 1-77. Futuristic and simple all at the same time, without being festooned with screens. Looks like an interior you see in those show cars we never get.
