LED bulbs only work one way around. So for example if they are the capless 501 type bulb, turn them 180 degrees and try again. If they are capped, then the wiring to the back of the bulb holder needs to be reversed.
I’ve tried them both ways round (ie 180 turn as you’ve suggested) but still nothing. Not quite sure what you mean by capped or cap less? Photo of the bulbs I’ve bought attached…
It should do. I'd be 95% certain. But it is your car.
If you carefully snip one side and try it, even by just twisting the wires together and both (or all four) work, then you'll know. If not, then worst case is reattach the original wiring and binding with insulation tape. Obviously if it works, bind with insulation tape anyway!

Arghhhh, one side is working now, but I’ve done the same on the other side and it won’t work with any bulbs at all!!! Nice one mate!
Funnily enough I thought the same with my Rangey. Ahh, bulb blown. Five LEDs later it's the fuse!
Glad it's all sorted, have you gone the full conversion with LED headlights? I got some Osram LED H4 in Halfords (these aren't legal for road use, you know) for my Chimaera. Absolutely brilliant and only draw 14w each rather than 65/55w each. At the time, I got the wrong LED sidelight bulbs, so like you have a yellowy tinge. You've inspired me to get on the bay and have bought the 'correct' bulbs now.

Well...
Just a bulb change in theory. But being a TVR, whilst fumbling in the wheel arch trying to locate the bulb holder in the lens, a twang and the whole unit goes floppy. Turns out one of the alignment things had come loose. Had to take the whole unit apart. So a simple two minutes became nearly an hour on the one that you see. And the tungsten one in the pic was less than a minute.
Who knew a British sportscar manufacturer fixed their light units with mastic!
